Network Administrator

What You'll Do
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support across hardware, software, network, and infrastructure systems
- Act as the primary IT contact after 2:00 PM daily and during IT Support Specialist absences ensuring seamless support continuity
- Support and maintain LAN/WAN environments, servers, virtualization platforms, cloud systems, and security controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and performance issues with urgency and precision
- Monitor backups, disaster recovery systems, and business continuity processes
- Analyze system performance and proactively implement improvements
- Manage technology assets, system licensing, and vendor relationships
- Contribute to documentation, user training, and internal IT process improvements
- Provide mentorship and escalation support within the IT team
- Able to travel (Travel expected is less than 10% of the time)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on systems or network administration experience
- Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, virtualization, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Experience supporting Linux-based systems (highly preferred)
- Ability to quickly diagnose issues and think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Certifications such as Network+, Security+, Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco are a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (experience may substitute).
