Role Description: Uniwyze is building the future of AI-powered regulatory technology in the cannabis and hemp sector. We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical architecture and execution of a platform designed to modernize compliance, COA ingestion, OCR automation, and AI-driven regulatory oversight. This is a founding leadership role for someone excited to build scalable GovTech infrastructure from the ground up.
What You’ll Build
- OCR-powered COA ingestion and structured database systems
- AI models for trend detection, risk flagging, and regulatory analytics
- Secure, scalable SaaS infrastructure for state agency deployment
- Role-based dashboards and system-of-record architecture
- API integrations with labs, manufacturers, and regulatory systems
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
- Strong background in AI/ML, data engineering, and automation
- Experience with OCR systems and structured data extraction
- Cloud-native architecture expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Security-first mindset (SOC2, compliance frameworks preferred)
- Ability to architect systems for government or enterprise deployment
- Startup experience and ability to operate in ambiguity
