Systems Administrator (Infrastructure, Network & Desktop)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Fully Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $120,000 base salary + full benefits

A well-rounded Systems Administrator who can operate across infrastructure, networking, and end-user systems. This is not a siloed role — they need someone comfortable supporting servers, network infrastructure, and desktop environments in a hands-on, onsite capacity.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Systems & Server Administration
- Manage Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Maintain virtualized environments (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Oversee Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
- Perform patch management, upgrades, and system hardening
- Manage backup and disaster recovery processes
Network Infrastructure
- Support LAN/WAN environments
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and firewalls
- Manage VPN connectivity and remote access solutions
- Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
- Work with vendors on ISP and hardware support
Desktop & End-User Support
- Support Windows and some macOS environments
- Troubleshoot hardware, imaging, deployment, and endpoint management
- Manage endpoint security and device policies
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues
- Support conference room technology and office infrastructure
Technical Environment
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory / Azure AD
- Microsoft 365
- VMware or Hyper-V
- Cisco / Fortinet / SonicWall (or similar)
- Endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, etc.)
- Backup solutions (Veeam or similar)
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on systems administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability across infrastructure and user environments
- Comfortable working onsite daily
- Experience supporting 100+ user environments preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with leadership and end users
