We are currently seeking a
Systems Administrator for our
Greenville office
. Successful candidates will be passionate about customer service to our internal team; detail-oriented; efficient; devoted to quality output; able to work independently, as well as in a team environment; possess the organizational skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines; and have excellent communication skills.
This position works on the implementation of workstations, servers, network infrastructure, and software services in a graphically intensive environment. This position is responsible for administering the LAN / WAN interconnectivity, maintaining network-level security, ensuring the stability and integrity of the network and provided services, and evaluating the impact of additional technologies, services, or changes to the network infrastructure and operational logistics.
This position is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administrating software and hardware across 500 users in 12 cities across the Southeast.
A Day in the Life:
- Service desk: a blend of onsite and virtual support for hardware and software needs
- Management and support for AEC Industry specific software, repairs, updates and maintenance
- Management of mobile devices, virtual servers, network and desktop components
- Write and maintain custom scripts, batch files, and programs to provide automation and efficiency
- Intune & PDQ management of device software
- Application roll outs: training, messaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Management of our software inventor, deployments
- Management of regular device patching and compliance
- Management of an Active Directory, Azure AD and O365
- O365 Administration
Your Strengths as a Systems Administrator:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong computer and IT systems skills
- Ability to interact professionally with office leadership, clients and vendors
- Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage a variety of workstations components, printers, laptops and A/V equipment is desired
- Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and later versions, Microsoft Windows 10 and later versions, and the Microsoft O365 environment
- Scripting experience in Powershell, Python and SQL
- Knowledge of NIST security standards
- Collaborates and contributes to the IT team on non-job description related tasks providing valuable support and expertise to your team members
What You Bring To The Table:
- 3-5 years of experience in information technology
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is preferred
- Experience with AIA related software is preferred but not required.
