Eleven Six PR is a NYC-based travel, hospitality and lifestyle PR firm with clients including hotels, resorts, wellness/lifestyle brands and destinations around the world as well as tour operators, travel services, non-profit organizations and entrepreneurs. We have an immediate opportunity for an Account Coordinator to join our team.
The right candidate will have a passion for travel and food, knowledge of the travel/lifestyle/food /wellness media landscape and have at a minimum interned at a relevant agency. Excellent writing skills, professional presentation and an ability to travel and attend evening events are required. Duties and Responsibilities:
● Execute various media relations strategies: pitch news, secure features, draft pitches
● Monitor daily media lead requests
● Help create and maintain media and influencer lists, assist with daily news monitoring
● Draft press materials, media alerts, pitch letters, bios, fact sheets and backgrounders
● Assist with media distributions
● Liaise with media and influencers on behalf of clients
● Provide client information and assets to journalists and influencers
● Compile clippings, clip decks and reporting needs
● Support client and industry events taking on assignments as directed
● Attend, contribute and take thorough notes at client/team meetings
● Assist in the production of new business materials and research
Requirements:
● Exceptional writing skills with a high level of attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation
● A passion for travel and lifestyle, and a working knowledge of the travel/lifestyle/food/wellness media and influencer landscapes
● A keen eye for digital strategy as we handle social media accounts and influencer relations for an array of clients
● Strong communication skills
● A creative thinker
● Enjoys team engagement and works well with others
● Strong time management skills
● Focus and motivation to exceed expectations
● Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Canva, Chat GPT, HeyOrca, Google Analytics, DropBox, Cision, MuckRack, PR Newswire, Klear
