We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to own and support our core IT infrastructure across cloud, network, endpoints, and enterprise applications. This role is hands-on and requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, security, and end-user support systems. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can both maintain existing environments and lead the implementation of new software and hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity, and security
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune
- Provide infrastructure support across cloud and on-prem systems, ensuring availability, performance, and security
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including:
- Ubiquiti switches and wireless access points
- SonicWall firewalls (VPNs, security policies, monitoring)
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection and device management solutions across Windows environments.
- Administer and operate the Jira Service Management / Helpdesk platform, including workflows, queues, SLAs, and reporting
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and outages
- Lead or participate in the implementation of new software and hardware, including evaluation, deployment, testing, and documentation
- Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and operational runbooks
- Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders as needed
- Ensure systems align with security best practices and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer role
- Strong, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (required)
- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365
- Proven experience supporting network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti and SonicWall
- Experience managing endpoint protection and device management
- Experience administering Jira Service Management or similar ITSM/helpdesk tools
- Demonstrated experience implementing software and hardware solutions end-to-end
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell preferred)
- Experience working in growing or fast-paced environments
