A well-established, multi-division organization in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is conducting a search for a Head of Information Technology to lead enterprise technology strategy, infrastructure, security, and application oversight.
This role requires a seasoned IT leader who can set long-term direction while ensuring operational excellence across a complex organization.
Role Overview
The Head of IT will define and execute the organization’s enterprise technology roadmap, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant systems that support current operations and future growth. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership and business unit stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead short- and long-term IT strategy, planning, and execution
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and IT operations
- Establish IT governance, KPIs, policies, and standards
- Drive cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management initiatives
- Manage technology investments, vendors, contracts, and service providers
- Lead and develop IT leaders and teams across multiple divisions
- Own IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience
- 10+ years of IT leadership (Director, Head of IT, CIO, or equivalent)
- Proven experience with:
- Enterprise infrastructure
- IT security and compliance
- Application oversight
- Multi-division organizations
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute a long-term IT roadmap
- Must reside in the Greater Dallas–Fort Worth area
