You Are
A skilled System Administrator II with advanced expertise to deploy, administer, monitor, and sustain secure server and infrastructure platforms. You ensure system availability and performance through backups, patching, capacity monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware.
- Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms.
- Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems.
- Create standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms.
- Installation and configuration of hardware and application software on system servers and personal computer.
- Create, facilitate, and manage user accounts access and privileges.
- Analyze system operations to identify inefficiencies and takes action to resolve problems and ensure optimal performance and consistency by developing processes that streamline and correct identified deficiencies.

Here's What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of experience in system administration
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
- Expertise in problem-solving skills to providing technical support services, such as software and hardware installation, configuration and ability to troubleshoot and investigate issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to develop and establish policies and procedures for the management of systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required .
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting a DoD environment.
