Job duties:
Enterprise application and systems administration, configuration, and customization Support applications in their corresponding cloud-based or on-prem environments Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT (Information Technology) staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure Manage backup and restore operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures Lead airport desktop support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions Coordinate with the City and/or departmental counterparts to troubleshoot or manage enterprise resources Evaluate vendor products and recommend purchases consistent with the Airport's objectives Recommend and implement policies and standards; ensure adherence to security procedures Support the training and skills enhancement of all IT department team members
