Our client is looking for a skilled Penetration Tester to join our Offensive Security team and help identify, validate, and report vulnerabilities across a wide range of systems and environments. This role involves hands‑on ethical hacking, in‑depth security assessments, and close collaboration with engineering and cyber teams to strengthen overall security posture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct penetration tests on APIs, web applications, networks, cloud platforms, and supporting infrastructure
- Review development practices and contribute to improving internal security standards
- Validate vulnerability disclosures and assess the impact of newly identified security issues
- Work directly with engineering teams to enhance secure SDLC processes
- Communicate findings and remediation guidance to both technical and business stakeholders
- Support teams through remediation by helping prioritize fixes and guiding secure implementation
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships within cybersecurity and technology groups
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT
- 3+ years of hands‑on penetration testing experience
- Experience working with at least one major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in offensive security (pentesting, red teaming, application/network/cloud security)
- Familiarity with threat‑modeling frameworks such as CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, or DREAD
- Experience testing mobile apps, IoT devices, or performing secure code reviews
- Ability to script or develop in Python, Golang, or C#
