Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Center Network Technician, located in Carlstadt, NJ. The Network Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting network issues, providing technical support to end-users, implementing network security measures, and ensuring network performance and reliability. The role requires collaboration with team members to support and enhance the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuring, monitoring, and managing networks
- Hands on Experience with Server and Networking Hardware Installation
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and providing effective Technical Support services
- Experience in ensuring Network Security through implementing and maintaining protective protocols
- Knowledge of Network Infrastructure, including LAN/WAN systems and connectivity
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- Capability to work independently in an on-site setting and solve complex issues proactively
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus
