System Administrator - Nashville, TN
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to provide day-to-day operational support for the organization’s IT systems, applications, and end-user environments across multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable technology operations, effective user support, and seamless system performance in a growing multi-site environment.
This position is ideal for a mid-level IT professional with strong technical fundamentals who enjoys problem-solving, supporting users, and maintaining enterprise systems in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
This is an on-site position based in Nashville, TN.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily support for Windows 10/11 endpoints, basic macOS support, and general workstation troubleshooting
Perform user and group management within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID
Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrollment and basic policy/application deployment
Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and MFA assistance
Perform routine server tasks such as monitoring, patching, permission updates, and service restarts
Troubleshoot core networking issues including DNS, DHCP, IP conflicts, VLAN awareness, and basic firewall adjustments (with guidance as needed)
Provide application support for business-critical platforms including Excede, Eclipse, StarShip, International/Navistar systems, Ford FMC tools, Isuzu ICS, and other operational systems
Utilize a ticketing system to track, manage, and resolve end-user issues; escalate when appropriate
Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles
Support new hire onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning
Coordinate with hardware, software, and service vendors as needed
Assist with troubleshooting and connectivity support across multiple locations, including on-site equipment replacements when required
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role
Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments; familiarity with macOS and Linux preferred
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 user administration and core productivity tools
Understanding of basic server administration and virtualization concepts
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, VLAN awareness, basic firewall logic)
Experience using a ticketing system for tracking and resolving support issues
Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation
Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field
Experience supporting multi-location environments
Familiarity with ERP or line-of-business systems such as Excede, Eclipse, StarShip, or OEM platforms
Entry-level IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure/M365 Fundamentals

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position requires on-site presence at the Nashville location
Occasional travel to local sites may be required
Must be able to lift and move equipment up to approximately 40 lbs
Occasional scheduled after-hours maintenance or updates may be required (to be discussed during the interview process)
