Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Systems Administrator to serve as a technical escalation point for our Professional Services team. As our organization grows, we aim to continually enhance service delivery—providing consistent, professional client experiences while addressing the increasing complexity of modern business technology. In this role, you’ll act as a senior resource for IT and cybersecurity projects, supporting our Professional Services team. You’ll also play a key part in mentoring technical staff to broaden their troubleshooting skills and technical expertise.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting diverse IT environments, including complex networks, virtualized servers, and cloud/SaaS platforms.
- Proven ability to deploy and migrate Microsoft Office 365, Azure Cloud, and Azure AD solutions.
- Familiarity with VMware hypervisors and Microsoft Server operating systems.
- Strong understanding of modern security principles (e.g., assumed breach mindset, risk-aware implementation).
- Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge to elevate team capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment that offers continuous learning opportunities.
- Knowledge of MSP tools preferred (RMM platforms, PSA/ticketing systems, AV/EDR/MDR solutions, SOC/SIEM technologies).
- Strong documentation habits for time tracking, work notes, and technical processes.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to commute to San Marcos, TX, and travel to client sites in Austin as needed.
- Deep understanding of Office 365, Azure Cloud, Azure AD: experience doing email migrations from exchange to 365
- Networking expertise: Configure enterprise network environment, set up firewalls.
- MS Server expertise: Need to be able to configure a Microsoft server from the ground up.
- IT MSP experience
- Valid drivers license
