HCM Analyst - Contract

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking an HCM Analyst Assistant basedat our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters. This position will be a contract role that is benefit eligible. The anticipated duration of this assignment is 15 months. The HCM Analyst will work with the Director HR Information Management in leading the design and implementation phases of the HCM conversion to Oracle HCM Cloud.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with the Director HR Information Management and Grant Thorton, in the management of the Oracle HCM implementation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system enhancements to increase efficiency
- Work with HR Workstream leads in the design configuration, and data validation of the Oracle HCM Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation and Benefits modules, including workforce structures, security roles, workflows, notifications and integrations
- Partner with technical teams on data conversions from PeopleSoft and OpenHR, integrations and reporting
- Assist in the validation of all data from PeopleSoft and OpenHR to Oracle and Dayforce
- Define and create test scenarios and scripts relevant to HCM processes globally, along with supporting integration testing and logging defects. Assist with end user support, participate in User Acceptance Testing and issues tracking
- Assist with cutover activities such as validating post-migration data
- Review Oracle release notes for quarterly updates and assess impact on existing processes.
- Support regression testing and ensure compliance with new features
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding changes, and update documentation
The Expertise We are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ hands on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, including configuration of Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Compensation
- Ability to apply critical thinking and strategic problem solving in complex HR Technology projects, including navigating unexpected challenges and balancing stakeholder priorities within resource and timeline constraints
- Oracle Cloud certifications and familiarity with payroll integrations preferred
- Experience with Dayforce Time and Attendance platform preferred
