Position Description
The System Administrator's responsibility is to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks. This role is involved in planning and implementing technical infrastructure within the organization. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. Must be able to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently in an enterprise environment. It is necessary to have the patience to communicate with various interdisciplinary teams and users. Must be able to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors system performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Installs, configures, and maintains enterprise software, hardware, and networks.
- Must be able to ensure the security and efficiency of the IT Infrastructure.
- Must explore new technologies and create a use case as to how the new technology can be more efficient in our environment.
- Must be able to create system alert notifications on all critical infrastructure.
- Must be able to provide on-call production support to our organization.
- Must be able to develop and maintain documentation of all business functions including changes and upgrades while maintaining the hardware and software annual support agreements.

Requirements
Education, Experience, and Certification:
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
- Have obtained a Technical Certification.
OR
- Five (5) years of experience in server management, information technology or related field.

Preferences
- Must have experience installing, configuring and maintaining Windows Server 2012R2- 2025.
- Linux and Scale Out Storage experience a plus.
- Must have the ability to plan and maintain effective backup and restore strategies.
- Must have experience with implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
- Must be experienced installing, configuring and maintaining VMware and Acropolis (AHV) environments.
- Experience setting up and configuring layer 2/3 data switches and enterprise firewalls.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds within work area.

- Regular Full-time
- Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
