Technology Systems Administrator
Position Summary
The Technology Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s technology platforms and operational software systems across the corporate office and multiple venue locations. This role focuses on the administration of business applications, point-of-sale platforms, audiovisual systems, telecommunications tools, and digital infrastructure that support daily operations.
The Technology Systems Administrator serves as the primary internal resource for software management, system configuration, user support, vendor coordination, and process improvement. This position ensures that all technology tools function efficiently, securely, and consistently to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Software & Systems Administration
Serve as the primary administrator for all company software platforms and technology tools
Manage user access, permissions, and security settings across business systems
Configure, update, and maintain core operational applications
Implement system updates, enhancements, and new technology solutions
Maintain organization-wide digital accounts and credentials
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through technology
Troubleshoot software-related issues and provide user support
Ensure consistency and standardization across all locations
POS (Point of Sale) Platform Management
Act as the lead administrator for all POS systems
Program and maintain POS menus, pricing, and configurations
Perform regular database cleanup and system optimization
Support staff with POS troubleshooting and training
Manage inventory of POS hardware and peripherals
Oversee POS setup and configuration for new locations
Coordinate system integrations and updates
Maintain reporting structures and system accuracy
AV & Venue Technology Coordination
Oversee day-to-day functionality of in-venue technology systems including:
Sound and speaker systems
Audio zones and configurations
DJ inputs and event equipment
Lighting systems and control software
TVs, displays, and digital signage
Coordinate updates and improvements to venue technology
Manage vendor relationships related to AV equipment
Provide on-site support for technology needs during events
Telecommunications & Digital Services
Manage company phone systems and related software
Oversee on-hold messaging platforms
Administer telecom accounts and user access
Troubleshoot connectivity or service-related issues
Coordinate service changes and upgrades with vendors
Vendor & Platform Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for technology vendors
Manage accounts with internet, software, and service providers
Coordinate installations, upgrades, and service requests
Evaluate software tools and recommend improvements
Oversee contracts and renewals related to technology services
Digital Organization & Process Improvement
Maintain internal system documentation and user guides
Standardize technology processes across all locations
Digitize and organize company data and records
Identify inefficiencies and propose technology-based solutions
Support onboarding and offboarding of employees within systems
On-Site Technical Support
Provide hands-on assistance at all company locations as needed
Respond promptly to urgent technology issues
Support staff with day-to-day system questions
Troubleshoot printers, terminals, cameras, and related equipment
Ensure all technology tools remain fully operational
Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in software administration, technology coordination, or systems support
Experience managing POS platforms and business applications
Familiarity with multi-location operational environments
Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
Experience working with AV and venue-related technology
