A leading financial services organization in New York is seeking an Enterprise Risk Analyst to help advance and mature its enterprise‑wide risk framework. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Bank's risk governance structure, supporting the design and execution of a comprehensive model for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and controlling risks across all business lines.
The head of enterprise risk management and the Chief Risk Officer are keen to expand the ERM function. Initially, they are hiring this analyst to hit the ground running and contribute to increasing operational efficiency and to enhancing risk and control functions.
This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility position that works closely with partners across Compliance, Operational Risk, Credit, Technology, Business Units, and Executive Leadership. You will help enhance and maintain core ERM processes, including enterprise‑level risk reporting, risk and control self‑assessments (RCSAs), key risk indicator (KRI) development and monitoring, thematic risk assessments, policy governance, and cross‑functional initiatives that strengthen the Bank's overall risk and compliance environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support processes related to the banks enterprise risk framework.
- Maintain risk appetite statements, ERM framework, and related policies.
- Produce board and risk reports using technological tools.
- Run operational risk event reviews, including analysis and tracking.
- Create reports and presentations for leadership and regulators.
- Assess business initiatives for their impact on the Bank's risk profile.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in risk management within financial services.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other programming languages preferred.
- Experience preparing reports for executive and Board - Level audiences.
- Knowledge of bank products and regulatory requirements is preferred (BSA/ AML/ OFAC/ UDAAP, Regulation E).
