Job Title: QA Manual Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
QA Manual Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and/or mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
- Execute manual test cases and record test results.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Participate in requirement review and sprint planning meetings.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Validate API responses using tools like Postman.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases.
- Good knowledge of defect lifecycle.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Experience in CRM, ATS, HRMS, or enterprise SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
- Experience in cross-platform testing (Web + Chrome Extension).
Experience Requirements
- 25 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience handling enterprise-level applications preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
