As an Analyst I you will have the opportunity to:
- Utilize EnviroStor and SharePoint data, research and provide analysis to management and SEBO staff with correct, up-to-date and easy to understand information that will enable them to carry out the mission-critical goals of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and respond to various assignments as required by management
- Provide research, analytical, communication and administrative support in a wide variety of consultative and analytical staff services assignments such as program evaluation and planning, and performance measures/workload tracking as it relates to the DTSC Strategic Plan and the SEBO Operations Plan
- Collect and analyze data on workload, overhead projects timeline and budgets
- Analyze staff resources and workload commitments for the development of the annual work plan
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reports utilizing data from various resources
- Update site-specific data in EnviroStor and independently issue site codes and docket numbers for Phase I, Preliminary Environmental Assessment and enforcement projects
Desirable Qualifications We Look For:
- Experience responding to internal/external Stakeholders
- Training/experience in Microsoft office
- Experience preparing reports, memos or presentations
- Experience managing administrative projects
- Experience/training in data collection, analysis and management
