About PREDICTION
PREDICTION is an early-stage threat and intelligence startup building a multi-application platform for real-world security and intelligence use cases. We focus on speed, clarity, and shipping systems that actually work in high-stakes environments. We are building the core platform now, not prototypes and not slides.
The Role
We are looking for a senior-level software engineer with strong architectural experience to help design and ship our core platform. This is a consult-to-hire role. You will start as a paid consultant, working closely with the founders, and transition into a full-time leadership role if there is a strong mutual fit. You will have real ownership from day one.
What You Will Do
Architect and help implement a multi-application platform from early foundations
Make pragmatic architecture decisions that balance speed and long-term scalability
Ship production code quickly while keeping systems clean and extensible
Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction
Help define patterns, infrastructure choices, and technical standards as the platform evolves
What We Are Looking For
Experience with Next.js or React
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Experience with multi-application or platform-style architectures
