Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT and network team in managing and maintaining network components and operations, including troubleshooting, project oversight, and enforcing network and security standards.
- Design, document, and implement network solutions that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs, including planning for future capacity.
- Configure, install, and maintain network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, Access Points).
- Test new network systems and solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide leadership, vision, and authority to motivate team members and guide projects to successful completion.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot problems, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on improvements.
- Utilize monitoring tools, network management software, and hardware to troubleshoot and isolate issues, assess performance, and ensure smooth operations.
- Support internal customers with technology-related needs, providing expert guidance and solutions.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems or network administration with progressive responsibility.
- Confident, personable leader with the ability to jump in, take ownership, and influence decisions at all levels.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of network devices, network management, VOIP, security management, and wireless network services.
- Deep understanding of IP networks including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and other IT infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
