Title: IT/OT Asset Inventory & Migration Lead

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Asset Inventory & Migration Lead responsible for establishing and managing a comprehensive inventory and tracking framework for manufacturing technology environments across multiple North American sites. This role will identify, document, and maintain detailed records of IT and OT assets—including validated PCs, peripherals, applications, and network/security zones—along with their locations and business ownership.
The inventory will serve as the foundation for large-scale device and network migrations to a new enterprise environment. The role will initially focus on inventory strategy and governance and later transition into leading a team responsible for executing migrations across eight sites in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a standardized process to track and inventory all manufacturing IT and OT equipment across sites.
• Establish asset tagging and location tracking methods, including mapping devices to business owners, operational areas, and network/security zones.
• Document physical assets, software applications, peripherals, firewall zones, and associated dependencies required for migration planning.
• Partner with corporate teams to review, validate, and reconcile site inventory data.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to support device migrations to a new network domain and infrastructure environment.
• Operate within ITIL-based processes, including change management, configuration management, and service lifecycle controls.
• Lead planning and coordination for migration activities based on inventory insights and readiness assessments.
• Serve as team lead to coordinate and direct teams executing migrations of equipment from one network domain to another.
• Manage and mentor a team of 3–5 resources responsible for migration execution across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes.
• Provide status reporting, risk identification, and escalation management throughout inventory and migration phases.
Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience working in ITIL-driven environments, including Change Management and Service Management processes.
• Strong background in IT/OT asset inventory management across physical devices, software, and security components.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multi-site migration or infrastructure projects.
• Proven project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and execution oversight.
• Understanding of manufacturing or operational technology environments and associated dependencies.
• Experience coordinating equipment migrations between network domains or enterprise environments.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.
