We’re seeking an Enterprise Network Systems Administrator to maintain, secure, and optimize large‑scale enterprise networks. You’ll support routing, switching, firewalls, monitoring tools, and infrastructure across a complex multi‑department environment.
TITLE: Enterprise Network Systems Administrator
TYPE: CONTRACT (12-24+ MONTHS)
WORK SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5/ Hybrid
LOCATION: Downey, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise networks, firewalls, VPNs, and hardware
- Monitor and enhance network performance and security
- Install, configure, and upgrade routers, switches, and network systems
- Support Windows, Linux, virtual infrastructure, and mainframes
- Collaborate with IT teams and provide Tier 2/3 support
- Assist with documentation, training, and security compliance
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Hands-on experience with Cisco tech, firewalls (Palo Alto/ASA), VPN, Wireshark
- Familiarity with tools like SCOM, OpenNMS, NetScout, ElasticSearch, CACTI, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio)
Experience
- 5+ years networking
- 3+ years Network Administrator (last 4 years)
- 2+ years security monitoring
- 3 years with enterprise routers/switches/firewalls
- 2 years with enterprise monitoring tools
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Network+, Security+, CCNA, or CCNP preferred
