We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and robust security. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, addressing technical challenges while collaborating with teams to optimize system performance.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within systems like Active Directory and Office 365.
• Respond to service requests with efficiency, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of network environments to enhance connectivity and security.
• Oversee server operations, including updates, monitoring, and backup management.
• Configure and maintain virtual environments using VMware hypervisors, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen cybersecurity measures and improve system performance.
• Install, update, and configure operating systems and software applications.
• Maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting procedures and contribute to a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience providing technical support and helpdesk services.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Android, iOS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, virtualization tools, and ticketing systems.
• Strong background in server management, network troubleshooting, and VMware administration.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and work independently.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or VMware certifications are highly desirable.
