REQUIREMENT
Position: Sr. System Engineer
Location: Austin, TX - Onsite (Only Locals)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
- Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, Azure VM, Azure Storage, etc.).
- Familiar with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to documentation, process improvement, and operational excellence
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Linux Certified: Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience in chaos engineering, capacity modeling, or SRE tooling.
