Provide production support of the various business technology systems and platforms. Responsibilities may include system security access management, problem resolution, custom report development, user support, business process improvement, and the implementation of new solutions such as data validation and document management solutions. This position will work directly with various organizational leaders to improve productivity of cross functional enabling business technologies.
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree or demonstrable equivalent
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis
Strong relationship management skills
Highly developed project/program management and change management skills
Understanding of business planning methods
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of technologies such as Cognos, Business Objects, or other graphical reporting tools
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Excel to analyze data
Knowledge of browser/platform compatibility issues
Experienced T-SQL developer
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, or .NET Web Services
Familiar with W3C standards
Experience in an Agile development methodology is a plus
Intermediate to Advanced level of SQL experience
Experience
3+ years of work experience in business technologies and support
Experience With Large Scale Project Management Preferred
Experience in business system processes such as Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Support various business systems.
Design and develop custom reports.
Support identification, design, and implementation of various business process improvements.
Support systems security access management.
Support implementation of business technology integration strategies to promote organizational effectiveness.
Maintain cooperative work relationship between business and technology platforms to ensure best overall solutions and designs.
Support process to develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities.
Contribute to proactive business planning activities and priority projects.
Complete special projects, as required.
