Position: Network Administrator
Location: Frisco, TX (100% onsite)
Pay Rate: $40-45/hr
3-6 month contract (possible contract-to-hire)

In need of a Network Administrator to augment our Cloud & Infrastructure team during a period of rapid growth. This role will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise wired and wireless networks across corporate and data center environments.
The ideal candidate is operationally strong, security-minded, and comfortable performing production network changes, firewall updates, and connectivity troubleshooting in a live environment.
What You'll Do:
· Administer and support enterprise LAN/WAN and data center network infrastructure.
· Configure and maintain Layer 2 environments including VLANs, trunking, STP, and port channels
· Support core, distribution, and access layer network architecture.
· Perform firewall policy updates, NAT changes, VPN configuration, and high-availability support.
· Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues, including VLAN-to-SSID mappings and RF-related performance concerns.
· Execute production changes following change management practices.
· Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
· Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and documentation.
· Collaborate with Systems, Cloud, and Security teams to maintain secure and scalable infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience.
· Strong Layer 2 networking expertise (VLANs, trunking, STP, port channels).
· Experience supporting data center networking environments (core/distribution/access models).
· Hands-on enterprise firewall administration experience (policy management, NAT, VPNs, HA concepts).
· Experience troubleshooting enterprise wired and wireless networks.
· Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing fundamentals.
· Experience performing production network changes in live environments.
· Ability to work onsite in Frisco, TX.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Juniper switching infrastructure.
· Experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls.
· Exposure to routing protocols such as OSPF or BGP.
· Experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Aruba, Cisco, Mist, etc.).
· Relevant certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, PCNSE, NSE, or equivalent).
· Experience in secure, compliance-driven, or defense environments.
