REQUIRED SKILLS
- A minimum of five (5) years of Windows Server administration experience, including three (3) or more years administering Windows Server 2016 and newer
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud technologies
- A minimum of two (2) or more years of AWS experience
- A minimum of five (5) or more years of Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1,000 or more users
- A minimum of three (3) or more years of Linux server experience
- Experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts
- Experience working in a virtual server/Cloud environment
- Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting 3rd party applications
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base
- Experience developing and managing schedules for multiple projects
- Experience working in the Microsoft Azure Government and AWS clouds
- Experience with state government projects
- Experience working with technical programming teams
- Ability to demonstrate a professional can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.

TASKS
- Perform management activities on Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory
- Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft server and Azure resources
- Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources
- Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
- Collaborate with data center staff, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Administer and configure Azure infrastructure security as needed staff and users
- Assist Azure application owners, administrators, and users with appropriate application access
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues with minimal impact on users
- Develop and write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties and perform Active Directory and Azure management activities
- Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements
- Create schedules for the development and implementation of specific software systems
