Join Govcio as a Network Administrator, providing crucial support for critical network systems and services for the 616 Operations Center and 616 Air and Space Communications Squadron. This on-site role in San Antonio, TX, offers a chance to work with cutting-edge network infrastructure, ensuring robust connectivity and security.
The Role
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and associated equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments.
• Perform network changes, upgrades, and maintenance in accordance with approved change management processes.
• Manage network documentation, including diagrams, IP schemas, and SOPs.
• Support network security requirements, ensuring compliance, STIGs, and vulnerability patching.
What You'll Need
• 9+ years of experience in IT support or a related role with a TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise in networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, DNS/DHCP.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
• Experience with Dell SmartFabric OS10, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco IOS XE preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
