IntePros is seeking a seasoned
Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-level network infrastructure across on-prem data centers and hybrid cloud environments. This role will serve as the technical authority for network architecture, driving innovation, security, scalability, and high availability across global environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design, roadmaps, and technical standards for enterprise networks (on-prem & hybrid cloud).
- Serve as SME for routing, switching, security, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Architect secure connectivity across data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and remote environments.
- Design and implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation, and security controls.
- Oversee routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP) across multi-site/global networks.
- Design and manage load-balancing solutions to ensure performance and high availability.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve agility and efficiency.
- Develop network documentation, diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Partner with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to align infrastructure with business and security objectives.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience, including 5+ years in a Network Architect role.
- Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper).
- Strong experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
- Proven success designing secure on-prem and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) network architectures.
- Experience with SDN, SD-WAN, load balancing, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate.
