A client in the renewable generation and storage assets space is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Compliance function. This role will support and enhance a risk-focused regulatory program spanning a diverse portfolio of solar and battery storage facilities operating in multiple wholesale power markets.
Reporting to the head of the compliance and security function, this individual will help strengthen oversight processes, ensure adherence to applicable regulatory frameworks, and collaborate cross-functionally to promote a culture of accountability and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, refine, and maintain internal security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with applicable federal and regional energy regulations
- Partner with operations, asset management, and engineering teams to interpret regulatory obligations and translate them into actionable processes
- Track and assess regulatory developments impacting generation and storage assets operating in organized power markets
- Maintain documentation, evidence logs, and reporting mechanisms related to security compliance requirements
- Support the investigation and escalation of potential regulatory issues, ensuring timely resolution and remediation
- Develop and deliver internal guidance and training to reinforce understanding of regulatory responsibilities
- Monitor corrective action plans and provide reporting on compliance metrics and status updates
- Conduct periodic reviews and internal assessments to evaluate adherence to compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a regulatory, risk, or compliance capacity within power generation, utilities, infrastructure, or energy markets
- Working knowledge of U.S. energy regulatory frameworks, including oversight bodies and reliability standards governing wholesale electricity markets
- Familiarity with market operators and regional transmission organizations (e.g., PJM, ERCOT, CAISO, NERC CIP or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
