Epicor Administrator (On-Prem)
Louisville, KY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
$90,000 – $110,000 Base + EBITDA Bonus + ESOP
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a $500M+ employee-owned manufacturing organization headquartered in Louisville, KY to identify an Epicor Kinetic Administrator.
This is not a basic helpdesk ERP role.
This position serves as the internal technical Epicor owner, supporting a mature 15+ year on-prem Epicor environment. The organization is actively scaling, and this role will play a critical part in ensuring system stability, performance, integrations, and controlled evolution of the platform.
If you have hands-on Epicor on-prem experience and can operate independently in a technical backend capacity, this role offers long-term stability and meaningful growth.
What You’ll Own
- Administer and maintain on-prem Epicor Kinetic environment
- Install hotfixes, patches, and version updates
- Serve as primary point of contact with Epicor support
- Implement vendor-provided data fixes and updates
- Manage user roles, security, and system access
- Support third-party integrations (both Epicor-aligned and external vendors)
- Utilize SQL for querying and reporting (no direct database editing)
- Develop and support BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and customizations
- Work within Application Studio to support UI/configuration enhancements
- Troubleshoot backend issues across finance, manufacturing, and operations
- Collaborate with internal technical and development resources
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a pure functional ERP trainer role
- Not a cloud-only SaaS environment
- Not a software developer position
- Not a junior-level ramp-up opportunity
We are seeking someone who can contribute immediately and operate with minimal oversight.
Required Experience
- 3+ years administering Epicor (on-prem strongly preferred)
- Experience with Epicor Kinetic architecture
- Familiarity with Application Studio
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP environments (MRP, production, inventory, finance modules)
- Experience managing system updates and vendor support tickets
- Working knowledge of SQL for queries and reporting
- Experience supporting third-party ERP integrations
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Exposure to moderate ERP customizations
- Background in ERP upgrades or long-term system ownership
Work Environment
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Louisville, KY
- Must reside in Kentucky or Indiana (relocation assistance considered case-by-case)
Compensation & Long-Term Value
- $90,000 – $110,000 base salary
