Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled Forensic Analysts (Digital/Cyber) to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting digital evidence from computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and networks to support investigations. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and knowledge of cyber threats and forensic methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forensic analysis of digital devices, including computers, mobile phones, servers, and cloud environments.
- Recover, preserve, and analyze electronic evidence in compliance with legal standards.
- Investigate cyber incidents, data breaches, and suspected digital fraud.
- Prepare clear and detailed forensic reports for internal teams, clients, or legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with investigators, legal teams, and law enforcement as required.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, forensic tools, and best practices.
- Ensure chain of custody and maintain strict confidentiality of all digital evidence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite) and techniques.
- Understanding of operating systems, networks, and cyber threat landscapes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to digital evidence and privacy.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CCFP (Certified Cyber Forensics Professional), GCFA, or EnCE.
- Experience with malware analysis, incident response, or network forensics.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming for forensic purposes.
