Job Title : Business Compliance Consultant

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Business Compliance Consultant to support regulatory alignment, contract oversight, and cross‑functional compliance initiatives within their healthcare operations.
***This position will allow for remote work flexibility, but per contract requirements selected candidate must reside in Indiana.***
What You’ll Do
- Review and update product‑specific contracts and amendments with subcontractors.
- Stay current on federal and state healthcare regulations and managed care requirements.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research; prepare summaries of legislative or rule changes.
- Coordinate waste and abuse investigations with internal compliance teams.
- Manage preparation and documentation for State Fair Hearings; represent the organization in hearings and report outcomes to senior leadership.
- Identify concerns with questionable billing practices or vendor contract issues and escalate as needed.
- Support audits, provider reviews, and case file development for compliance investigations.
- Participate in multi‑department regulatory change initiatives.
- Help create and maintain consistent processes for tracking requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with developing and communicating new or updated policies and procedures across departments.
- Ensure cross‑functional alignment for processes that span multiple business units.
- Contribute to enterprise programs such as privacy, security, ethics, and fraud/waste/abuse compliance.
- Complete required compliance training and adhere to all organizational policies.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in business operations or related functions.
- Experience in compliance, legal research, or contract review strongly preferred.
Indiana‑Specific Preferred Experience
- 7+ years of combined contract drafting and legal research experience.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly government‑funded programs.
- Advanced knowledge of Indiana Medicaid regulations, state administrative codes, and federal requirements.
