This is not an implementation role.
This is not operations.
This is the person the enterprise turns to when infrastructure direction must be set - not followed.
We’re working with a major organization seeking a senior technical authority to define long-range infrastructure strategy across a complex, multi-platform environment.
This is a true enterprise-level SME - someone who doesn’t just design systems, but shapes how infrastructure evolves across the business.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is about influence, not tickets.
You will guide architecture decisions that impact availability, scalability, performance, security, and long-term investment strategy across the enterprise.
You’ll sit at the intersection of:
• Technology vision
• Governance
• Business alignment
• Long-term infrastructure transformation
This is a highly visible role with executive-level influence.
What You’ll Do
• Define long-range infrastructure architecture strategy
• Lead enterprise roadmap development
• Establish reference architectures and standards
• Evaluate platforms for scalability, resilience, and ROI
• Guide modernization and transformation initiatives
• Influence executive technology direction
• Drive governance alignment across major initiatives
• Ensure architectural integrity across implementation efforts
• Serve as the authoritative voice on infrastructure direction
You will help shape how the organization builds, integrates, and scales technology - not just today, but for years ahead.
Who You Are
• 12+ years in infrastructure architecture
• 8+ years in senior or enterprise-level leadership roles
• Experience driving architecture strategy in large environments
• Background influencing enterprise standards and roadmaps
• Comfortable advising executive stakeholders
• Experience evaluating architecture tradeoffs across scale, performance, and cost
• Able to translate business direction into technical strategy
You’ve led before - even without the title.
Compensation
$250K – $350K
This role is for professionals who think beyond platforms - and shape environments.
