We’re supporting a Texas State Agency looking for a Senior / Tier-III Microsoft System Administrator to manage and secure a hybrid enterprise environment spanning on-prem, virtual, and cloud platforms.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role for professionals who operate beyond ticket queues and take accountability for infrastructure stability, automation, and security.
🔹 What You’ll Own
- Enterprise Windows Server 2016/2019 environments (Hyper-V)
- Active Directory & Azure AD (LDAP, replication, GPOs)
- Microsoft 365 & Exchange Online
- Tier-III escalation for complex systems issues
- PowerShell automation and infrastructure improvements
- Security-first operations across all systems
🔹 Must-Have Experience
- 5+ years administering Microsoft servers (Web/SQL)
- 3+ years with Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365
- Strong PowerShell / scripting background
- Experience with Azure / Intune security solutions
🔹 Nice to Have
- Texas State Agency experience
- SCCM / Intune endpoint management
- SQL Server migrations & performance tuning
- SAN / enterprise storage environments
