Our client, a leading organization in cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Cryptographic Governance Lead to drive enterprise-wide cryptographic strategy and governance.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and operationalize a comprehensive cryptographic governance program.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation.
- Develop and maintain enterprise cryptographic policies and standards aligned with industry and regulatory requirements.
- Define and track KPIs to measure risk, maturity, and program effectiveness; present findings to leadership.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging algorithms; coordinate transition strategies with stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on encryption, hashing, key management, and digital signatures to safeguard data integrity.
- Define requirements for encryption platforms and tools (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, HSMs, TLS infrastructure).
- Promote and document governance processes, procedures, and enterprise cryptographic strategy across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Cryptography, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cryptographic governance or related cybersecurity roles.
- Deep knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, standards, and protocols (AES, RSA, TLS).
- Proven expertise in PKI, key lifecycle management, and encryption across diverse environments.
- Familiarity with data security platforms such as Splunk, Varonis, and Thales tools.
- Experience in large, complex organizations; healthcare industry background is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide initiatives.
