Title: Senior System Administrator (Cloud & SaaS – Microsoft 365 Focus)

Job Summary
The Senior System Administrator (Cloud & SaaS) is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s Microsoft 365 and SaaS application environments. This role focuses on day‑to‑day administration, user support, cloud service configuration, access management, and operational stability.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Perform daily administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Manage mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, retention settings, Teams/SharePoint access, and licensing assignments.
- Support identity and access tasks such as password resets, MFA assistance, conditional access adherence, and user/device compliance.
SaaS Application Support
- Provide administrative support for common organizational SaaS platforms.
- Maintain user access, role assignments, and license counts across platforms.
- Assist with application troubleshooting and vendor escalations.
User Support & Incident Response
- Respond to escalations from the Service Desk for M365 workloads and SaaS platforms.
- Take ownership of tickets and collaborate with peers until resolution.
- Provide user guidance on best practices in Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, device compliance, and collaboration workflows.
Cloud Security & Compliance Support
- Assist with enforcing security controls such as MFA, conditional access compliance, and identity hygiene.
- Support DLP, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data governance configuration.
- Monitor alerts and escalate when needed.
Operations, Maintenance & Documentation
- Contribute to documentation of procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Support lifecycle tasks such as license clean‑up and group lifecycle management.
- Perform hygiene checks such as verifying sharing settings, mailbox quotas, and configuration drift.
Qualifications – Required
- 5-6+ years technical support or system administration experience
- Hands‑on Microsoft 365 experience
- Familiarity with SaaS applications and identity management
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Experience with PowerShell for basic tasks
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications – Preferred
- Experience with Hybrid Managed 365 Environment
- Experience with Datacenter Environment (VMware and Windows Server)
- Exposure to SSO or SCIM provisioning
- Microsoft 365 certifications
- ITIL and Change Control experience
Working Model
- Regular business hours with occasional maintenance windows
- Participate in on‑call rotation
- Collaborate with IT Support and other IT teams
